The Sleep Onesie is a blanket substitute for little ones who don't like the restriction of a sleeping bag, or those transitioning to a big bed. Designed to be worn on its own for sleep, or with a layer underneath for warmth and comfort.

The Sleep Onesie can be used from age 6 months for those children that don’t like the restriction of a sleeping bag, but the ideal age range is for preschoolers transitioning to a big bed and blankets.

When your little one starts ‘blanket-training’ they may kick off their blankets at night and get cold, resulting in waking. Using a Sleep Onesie underneath their blankets will help keep them warm should this happen.

The Sleep Onesies is made from our stretchy organic jersey cotton, and comes in three TOG ratings and two different sleeve lengths, to keep your mini-me warm throughout the year.

The long-sleeve 2.5 TOG Sleep Onsie is perfect for keeping a child warm during sleep in room temperatures 17–21°C / 63–70°F (ideal for cooler weather). The warm 2.5 TOG rating means that there is no need for additional blankets in the cot when using this product, making it a safe-sleep option. Parents can be assured the breathable GOTS certified Organic Cotton will help your child maintain an even temperature whilst sleeping, and prevent overheating. The stretchy organic jersey long sleeves are a soft fleecy material and rated 1.0 TOG to provide extra warmth on chilly nights. The sleeves feature fold over cuffs and mitts for keeping fingers and hands warm too. Parents can follow the FREE room thermometer and What to Wear guide provided with the product, to layer appropriately underneath to keep their child warm.

The Sleep Onesie is made from and filled with Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified organic cotton that is non-toxic and gentle on irritable skin. All ergoPouch fabrics are dyed with non-toxic water based dyes. The Sleep Onesie is reviewed by the Eczema Association of Australasia (EAA) as a skin-friendly product.

How to wash and dry your Sleep Onesie

Gentle cold machine wash in mild detergent
Do not soak or bleach
Tumble dry low
Warm iron if required
Do not dry clean
When cared for properly, this product will last several years and can be used for more than one baby. Our TOGs don't lose their warmth ratings over time, but a gentle fluff up in the dryer on a low setting helps maintain the fibre's loft, allowing air to circulate more effectively.

Warnings

The Sleep Onesie meets all safety standards in Australia and New Zealand
Ensure you buy the correct size for your baby's weight and length, to prevent the Onesie from riding up around your baby's face.

Do not use a padded 2.5 TOG or 3.5 TOG Sleep Onesie in a 5-point harness.
